Bush thumbs nose at Senate, US Citizens - appoints Bolton

Once again, President George W. Bush proves himself to be a divider, not a uniter. Not wasting a moment, he appointed John Bolton as the US representative to the UN just as soon as Congress went into recess, thereby circumventing the process.

The hopes for cooperation from the rest of the world on matters of national and international security and other pressing issues, has just diminished even further. And, if the Democratic Party is smart, they will take this opportunity to unite and make those in this country that still don't get it, understand what it is that this President has done and is doing to this country.
